As a divorce mediator, I have the privilege of guiding and empowering my clients through times of significant legal and emotional transition. Supporting people through some of the most challenging experiences in their lives continues to strengthen my passion for my work and deepen my connection to the Orange County community. 

We all have unique experiences that shape who we are. My career has shown me that, by sharing our stories, we open up opportunities to build understanding and empathy. My Favorite Part Of Divorce Mediation

As the only Certified Family Law Mediation Specialist in Orange County, I am honored that my clients trust my expertise and choose my services as an alternative to traditional divorce proceedings

My favorite part of being a Family Law mediator is guiding my clients towards win-win solutions, transforming their painful experiences into empowerment, dignity, and autonomy. I encourage a positive outlook through every step of a process that gives people the power to settle their divorces privately and on their own terms, rather than leaving life-changing decisions (about matters like finances, estates, and custody) up to the courts to decide. 

I truly believe that empathy is everything. I make it my priority to ensure that each client feels validated and respected through their emotional journey. Divorce doesn’t have to be a contentious battle that makes a difficult chapter even worse. Mediation mitigates the escalation and hostility that often ensues in litigation. My conflict resolution techniques help couples go from adversarial to amicable (and sometimes even reconciled!), earning me the reputation of being known as the “Divorce Whisperer” and “Bomb Defuser”.

People And The Place I Cherish 

My father was a physician who returned to school to become an attorney when I was a child. His career has always been an inspiration to me, especially when I decided to change my career as a young litigator to become a Family Law mediator. Listening to him read legal cases as bedtime stories to me is what ignited my spark for wanting to advocate for people. I will be forever grateful to him for instilling in me the desire for intellectual inquisitiveness and helping people. Although it is not required to be an attorney to be a Family Law mediator, I consider my education and background in law to be an asset in being able to advise clients, tailor solutions, and draft agreements that align with the goals and wishes of my clients while still complying with legal requirements.

I am extremely grateful to call Newport Beach, one of the most beautiful places on earth, my home with my family, friends, and fur babies Nalu, Tahini, and Kaeo. I deeply cherish the relationships I have with the people in my life and the time we are able to share together. As a godmother of seven beautiful godchildren, sponsoring their extracurricular activities gives me great joy and fulfillment as I watch them grow, develop, and reach their full potential. I love the outdoors, and I avidly explore new dive sites internationally.
